1. BE MORE MINDFUL OF _______________ THINGS

So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:1–2 (CSB)

Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame. They are focused on earthly things, but our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:19–20 (CSB)

2. BE MORE MINDFUL OF YOUR ________________

Therefore, put to death what belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. Colossians 3:5 (CSB)

for he is like one who is inwardly calculating. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, but his heart is not with you. Proverbs 23:7 (ESV)

And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:27 (ESV)

3. BE MORE MINDFUL OF _______________

But now, put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth. Colossians 3:8 (CSB)

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. Matthew 15:19 (ESV)

Because of these, God’s wrath is coming upon the disobedient… Colossians 3:6 (CSB)

4. BE MORE MINDFUL TO KEEP ON _________ IT ON

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator. Colossians 3:9–10 (CSB)

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; Ephesians 4:22 (NIV)

But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception. Hebrews 3:13 (CSB)
