LIVING LOVE LETTERS

BAPTIZED IN YOUR FAITH

2 CORINTHIANS 3:3

DANIEL CASSELS

FEBRUARY 14, 2016

1. LET YOUR LIFE ___________ WHAT YOU SAY

It is clear that you are Christ’s letter,  produced  by us, not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God —not on stone tablets  but on tablets that are hearts of flesh. 2 Corinthians 3:3 (HCSB)

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it?  In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe—and they shudder. Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless? James 2:14–20 (HCSB)

2. LOVE THOSE _____________ TO YOU FIRST

“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must also love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34–35 (HCSB)

3. LET LOVE SHOW _______________

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails... 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 (NASB95)
