Ephesians 2:4-5

Pastor Daniel Cassels

December 30, 2018
1. YOU ______ HERE BUT YOU ARE NOT ________ HERE And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously lived according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us, made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! Ephesians 2:1–5
2. LET’S HAVE A PROPER ____________  … LET’S TAKE OFF THOSE ______________ CLOTHS Jesus wept. John 11:35 (CSB)
After he said this, he shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out bound hand and foot with linen strips and with his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and let him go.” John 11:43–44
3. LEARN TO ______________ GRACE           … GRACE IS A PERSON HIS NAME IS JESUS For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life? Matthew 16:26
For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do. Ephesians 2:8–10  (CSB – Christian Standard Bible)
