Sunday Morning Service

Pastor Daniel Cassels, his wife Hannah, children Jack, Allie and dog Sammi are new to the Santa Maria area. Daniel grew up in Washington State and Hannah in Globe, Arizona. Though this seems like worlds apart they met while Daniel was serving at Shadow Hills Baptist Church in Las Vegas Nevada. They were married January 06, 2006 and have served God as a family ever since. While attending the The College at Southwestern (a part of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary) in Fort Worth, Texas they felt a call to go into full time ministry on the west coast. This call brought them to the wonderful church of Life Way Fellowship in Santa Maria California in 2009. They love to serve God by serving people, fellowshiping, and sharing the Good News of Christ.

Where does your relationship stand with God? Are you even in a relationship with God? Some can say that they are not in a relationship with God because they have not done what the Bible says you need too in restoring that relationship that has been broken by sin. Others have committed their lives to let Jesus be the Lord of their lives but have not really trusted Him with their whole life. Now is the time to start a new with God! As we move towards Easter we will discover what it really means to start "A New Beginning With God!"

Today we remember and celebrate how our God reconciled us back to Him! It is through Jesus’ death on the cross that sin was paid and His rising from the grave that death was overcome! God did all of this because He wanted to have a relationship with His creation. God created us for relationship and that is a built in desire for most. The problem is that sin in our lives makes it hard to live together. Sin at it's core is when we live self-centered rather than by God's direction. So if we want to live life together we have to be intentional. God's Word gives us the direction to Build that Life Together as we trust Jesus as the Lord of our Life. Come worship with us this morning as we celebrate that the tomb is empty!

As followers of Jesus Christ we have been joined together through our relationship with Jesus. This is what the Bible calls the Body of Christ. Every believer that is a part of the church serves as a part of the body and has a purpose in that body.

Let's look at the standard. How is it that we know we should worship? How can we know that we are saved? It is only through the Word of God. If the Word of God is to be our standard then we must build our lives on it and today we will start to look at exactly what that means!

Today is Palm Sunday and we celebrate the Triumphant king with a new series about the plan that God had to bring Him to us! Let’s worship today!

I don’t know if you have faced any opposition to you faith lately but you will. The unfortunate reality of these challenges is that many will often get the information from the media (movies, TV, books, etc…). We need to be ready to give a reason for the hope that we have from the Word of God. Today we start a sermon series called God is Not Dead. Let’s get ready to answer the challenges that are coming!

Are you ready for some encouragement in life? Have you ever felt like the world was against you and the life that God is asking you to live is too hard? Well it’s time to be reminded who makes it possible. Let’s take a look at the book of Colossians and that Jesus is all we need! Come worship with us as we seek our God together at Life Way Fellowship.

I give you a new command:  Love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you must love one another.  By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.  John 13:34-35

Believers in Jesus Christ are called to follow Him. This is not just to have Him lead us to a destination but to show us how to live as He did in our every day life! Jesus is our example in all we do. Let's walk together as we learn from Jesus our Example!

As Christ followers we know what God tells us to do but it just seems too simple. We hear around us all these better ways and it just doesn’t feel right. This is the moment where we need to Let Go & Let God. What is our trust in and where is our mind focused? Today we need Let Go(D)!

How many of you are overwhelmed with the culture today? Anyone here a little anxious about what’s going on in the world today? As Christians we can feel like we’re in a foreign country… that’s because we are! Just like Daniel we live as God’s people in a world that does not live for God. So how do we deal with that truth? It was God’s call in Daniel’s life that helped him to live in a world that was completely opposite of the world that he grew up in and that same call in our lives will help us today! Join us today as we worship the God that leads us no matter the circumstances!
